The West Moonah Community House commenced in 1985 when a group of interested people from the West Moonah area began to offer organised activities at the local school. After a few years, we found accommodation in a draughty old house a few streets from the school, but by 1991, we were moved into our brand new, purpose built house in Springfield Avenue.
Whether you are a lifetime advocate or new to our cause, we invite you to join us. We welcome new ideas and value enthusiasm from members and volunteers, new and old.
West Moonah Community House is a home away from home for many of our community. We have an open door policy encouraging all members of the local (and surrounding) community to participate in our activities and take advantage of our facilities.
OUR VISION: A place to come together in unity to share, learn and grow.
OUR MISSION: The Mission is to provide a vibrant, flexible, inclusive and safe environment, where people come to access the support and resources to meet their social, information, education and cultural needs and aspirations.
